A couple of months ago we opened Sundays. We’re now extending our weekday hours and will stay open till 6.30pm.
From 21st November, our new hours will be:
Monday – Friday 8.00am – 6.30pm
Saturday 10am-5pm
Sunday 11am-4pm
When our new café opens mid-December, we’ll extend our weekend hours… stay tuned!

I for one am gladdened to finally see some leadership in Australian politics regarding climate change. For too long our political leaders have had a ‘let’s wait and see what the rest of the world will do’ stance so even though I don’t believe placing a price on carbon to be the best response (Let’s see carbons limits and compulsory reductions on emissions) I will be attending the rally organised by Getup on this Saturday the 12 March.

Pedal-Powered Film Festival
CERES Global and The Otesha Project (Aus): Cycling for Sustainability are joining forces to bring you an evening of inspirational films (powered by YOU), food, drinks, and other very fun activities all in the name of raising funds for two projects whose common mission is to educate and act towards a sustainable and equitable world.

Melbourne Bike Fest is coming! “Bikefest is a community initiated celebration of bikes in everyday life”… in the Bike Fest crew’s own words.
The Festival runs 24th to 28th November and there’s STACKS of stuff to catch including parties, award nights, film screenings, debates and of course bike maintenance sessions. We’re proud to be sponsoring the festival and contributing to such an awesome local event about bikes!

Coming to the Kite Festival this Sunday (14th March)? Ride to Northcote’s All Nations park (behind the Northcote Plaza) for the Festival and leave you can leave your bike safe with the Human Powered crew for the day. We’ll be providing free valet bike parking between 10am and 5pm. And we’ll have some basic supplies to help where we can when it’s not too busy. You know, a pump and some lube. Stop! Wait! Too soon, too soon!! We were plannining our next social ride for the evening of the 5th March but it’s crept up mighty fast. So fast that we’re a bit under-prepared. So we’ve postponed.
The next social ride will be Friday 19th March.
