Wednesday 13th was Ride to Work Day and, as tradition dictates, we celebrated. We teamed up with Darebin Council to provide a pit-stop free
bike fix and grab-a-bite-to-eat quick fix for hungry cyclists in a hurry.
This is where we were located. And here’s a photo just for fun,
Next year it’s going to get better again. We’re dreaming of a coffee cart, full breakfast spread and lounge chairs… and it looks like it’s going to happen!

Hi Folks!
With such perfect cycling weather, everyone’s riding their bike! So we’ve announced some super package bike deals. These deals are full city riding commuting packages, not just a bike!
Also announcing our presentation at this year’s Sustainable Living Festival and our next social ride on Friday 5th March… we’re looking forward to another chilled out sunset ride along the bike paths.

Folks from far and wide roll up!
December is upon us again! That makes a full year of us living the Bike Life at High Street. My calculations show that we’ve serviced 12,197 bicycles and sold just over twice that many helmets since opening in December ’08. Some people question my figures and say they’re sometimes optimistic but surely a far more important question is what the second 12,197 helmets are being used for. I do not know!
December is set to be an extremely exciting month …

It really feels like not so long ago I was typing out the last newsletter. Another month must have flown by and now we find ourselves in the thick of the cycling season… “wow!”
We’ve had a stack of recent events plunging us into the deep end. I’m talking bike swap meets, Blessing of the Bike, Around the Bay and of course trusty old Ride to Work Day… “what a blast!”
Oh yes, another fun gig in October was the Go Bike festival. We spent some time down there showcasing the Gazelle …
