Transition Darebin and launch of the Transition Decade
Transition Darebin’s kick off for 2010 is on Thursday 11th of February
As part of the global Transition Towns movement, Transition Darebin was formed last year by a group of local residents. Their vision is “A relocalised and resilient Darebin that is liveable for current and future generations.” Since their launch last year, they have been working on projects and planning their activities for 2010. They are now seeking feedback and help.
They are looking for Darebin residents who are interested in getting involved in Transition Darebin. You might want to join an existing project, help them link up to one you know about, or start your own. Or you might want to take on a discrete task on our wish-list of things to do to strengthen Transition Darebin.
