I used to run a Miche groupset, but found the bottom brackets very unreliable. I switched to a TA bottom bracket which come in length increments of 2mm, and can also be micro-adjusted.
More recently I've been using campagnolo BB's - they're far more reliable than Miche or TA, and can be rebuilt unlike the Miche. I find the extra cost for the Campagnolo is worth it.
Whereas I used to get one year from a disposable Miche, I now get 2-3 before the Campagnolo needs a rebuild! Only catch is campag come in 102, 111, and 115mm lengths.
Good Luck!
