		<description><![CDATA[Brompton folding bikes are all about choice, they are some standard models but the main way people buy them is fully custom.
What follows are some suggestions on what I&#8217;d go for.
P6R (Loop touring bars, 6 gears &#38; rear rack)


I think this is the bike that has it all for me, it&#8217;s the fully featured Brompton with a rack for parked stability and real rolling when folded. It has the multi-position handlebars for all-day comfort and 6 well-spaced gears to cover a variety of terrain. I&#8217;d go all steel with pump.

So the time has finally come to unveil the bike I&#8217;ve been dreaming about for the last year or so. Taking LittlePixel&#8217;s idea, from bikeforums.net I&#8217;ve cooked up my own version of a fixed-wheel Brompton.
Starting with a 2009 S1E Brompton in clear laquer, I built a wheelset around Velocity Aerohead rims with a Phil Wood hub at the rear and a Pantour suspension hub at the front. I&#8217;m running on slick Schwalbe Stelvio tyres.
