With a good set of gloves and jacket the fresh mornings and evenings are great for cycling. With some mudguards and a good set of lights, even a bit of rain can be enjoyable! And even better, the days are getting longer and Spring is approaching fast…

Daylight savings ended. Then the Ride On lights test in the latest edition of the Bicycle Victoria magazine was published. Then I spent a few days perusing the bike lights on offer at a few popular shops around Melbourne… now I’m motivated to make some comments on the lighting options we’ve got on offer and why.
This article is divided into five sections. These are:

Mini lights: legal (… on a full battery), discussing mini battery lights

Late last year, Electra bikes were getting pretty hard to find. The 2010 Electra range is starting to arrive in the country. The first to come in is the Amsterdam Original 3i men’s. It now comes with an alloy frame but apart from this is pretty much the same. 3 speed Shimano hub gears, full chain case, comfortable upright ride. The rest of the range, including the women’s range, will be available soon.
The Original comes in one frame size. We adjust the saddle and handle bars to fit you.
